The Molhema Project focuses on empowering women, particularly housewives and students aged 20-45, who run home-based businesses in Kassala State.
Project Highlights
Micro-Loans
Participants received micro-loans ranging from 30,000 to 50,000 SDG for a maximum term of five months, enabling them to kickstart or grow their businesses.
Target Group
The project targeted 20 women equipping them with the tools and resources needed to succeed, with production tools and materials sourced locally from Kassala or, if unavailable, from Khartoum.
Vocational and Business Training
Participants underwent vocational training tailored to their industries and received guidance on running small businesses, including feasibility studies to ensure sustainable growth.
Ongoing Monitoring and Support
Post-financing, beneficiaries were closely monitored to track their progress. They received assistance in marketing their products locally and within the state and were provided with ongoing advice at every stage of their business journey.
E-Payment Integration
